What's Happening-31/08/2010

Gymnastics
Every Wednesday (starting tomorrow), Craig will be coming to the school to do gymnastics with our class.  It's €1 / week.  Children should wear their school tracksuits and runners.

Staff Meeting
The school is closing at 12.30pm this Friday (3rd September) to facilitate a staff meeting.

Class Blog
This is our new class blog.We will be posting our class activities throughout the year.  We’d love some comments when we get up and running.  If you would like to post a comment please just use your first name and who you know in the class, 

e.g. John (Brian’s dad) or Lisa (Mark’s aunt).  I will send another, more detailed, letter about our blog and wiki pages in a few weeks.

Our News
On Mondays we talk about what we did over the weekend in Our News.  If you took any photos over the weekend that your child would like to talk about in class (e.g. if you went away somewhere) you can email them to cmcgowan@killygarryns.ie

Sorry- there was a problem with the email but it's fixed now.  I'll show the class all the photos that come in anytime this week.

    I really liked the cake sale on Friday. It was great fun. Everybody had great fun.
    I think that the cake sale was a good idea and everybody in our class enjoyed eating the buns.
